How to Read This Dashboard
This dashboard is designed to show how closely bookmakers align with actual match outcomes, and how that alignment evolves over time.
It does not aim to predict individual matches. It reveals patterns of accuracy, stability, and adjustment across bookmakers and teams.
Market Accuracy Index (MAI)
MAI compares bookmakers against a neutral market reference and tracks relative accuracy over recent matches.
Below zero
Stronger recent accuracy.
Above zero
Weaker recent accuracy.
Windows (15 / 30 / 50)
- Shorter windows react faster but are more volatile.
- Longer windows are smoother and reflect structural behavior.
Use MAI to understand which bookmakers are consistently closer to the market signal, not who wins individual games.
OA Score & Rankings
OA Score summarizes recent forecasting accuracy into a single comparative measure.
Lower scores indicate stronger accuracy.
Interpretation is always relative to the selected context.
- Rankings are relative within the selected context (window and odds type).
- Small differences matter more than absolute rank positions.
- Rankings answer “who has been more accurate recently?”, not “who is best forever”.
Market Efficiency (Opening vs Closing)
This section shows how bookmakers adjust from opening to closing odds.
Improvement
Suggests effective information incorporation.
Deterioration
Suggests overreaction or miscalibration.
Persistent patterns matter more than single changes. Think of this as behavior under information pressure.
Team Accuracy Index (TAI)
TAI focuses on team-specific behavior and highlights where pricing deviates systematically for specific teams.
TAI works in two modes
- 1 team + up to 5 bookmakers
- 1 bookmaker + up to 5 teams
Lower windows may show sharp swings — this is expected and reflects short-term volatility, not instability.
AI Analysts
AI insights summarize observable signals such as:
Relative strength
Who is above/below the market signal lately.
Trend direction
Whether accuracy is improving or deteriorating.
Volatility
How stable or noisy the signal is.
Correction behavior
Mean-reversion vs drift patterns.
They interpret what is visible, not how it is calculated. If signals are weak or mixed, the AI remains cautious by design.
What This Dashboard Is — and Isn’t
This dashboard is:
- a comparative accuracy lens
- a behavioral analysis tool
- a signal explorer
It is not:
- a betting tip engine
- a prediction oracle
- a shortcut to guaranteed outcomes
Use it to see patterns others miss, not to outsource judgment.
